Equipping churches to serve foster families.
PLACED exists to equip the church to support foster families through tangible care, relational support, and spiritual encouragement.
Our mission is driven by a deep belief that the Church can be the hands and feet of Jesus to vulnerable children and the families who care for them.
Right now, thousands of children in our state and around the country are in need of safe, loving homes. The foster care system is overwhelmed — not because there aren’t enough people who care, but because many don't know how to begin or believe they can make a difference.
PLACED exists to bridge that gap. We help churches step into this space with purpose, preparing believers to meet this need with compassion, support, and lasting commitment. The need is urgent. The time is now.
Dave and Amanda Delaney are parents to seven children, including three precious little girls whom they fostered and later adopted. They are passionate advocates for foster care and faithful leaders within the local church. As a pastoral family who have fostered and adopted, they’ve experienced firsthand both the beauty and the burden of caring for vulnerable children.
Their journey began with a simple yes — a willingness to welcome children in crisis into their home. Since then, their story has inspired many others to open their hearts and homes. Through PLACED, Dave and Amanda strive to empower churches to surround foster families with tangible, relational, and spiritual support.
